Dear Visitor
The "Antarctic Challenge 2009 – 2011" is the most fascinating expedition ever to be staged.
After the success of producing the "Simpson Desert Challenge 2002" (www.impactimages.com.au/simpsondesert/race.htm), an officially registered "Year of the Outback 2002 Event", several local and international sports and marathon management companies have approached us requesting the production and management of further extreme sporting documentaries.
The "Antarctic Challenge 2009 – 2011" team is also making arrangements to produce several other high quality sporting events after the Antarctic Expedition 2009 – 2011, all for the cause of helping our youth and in medical research worldwide.
The idea of the Expedition was developed by Bernd Ade to produce one of the most exciting cinema movies and documentaries, to show children and young adults that following the right life style, by eating well, exercising and having a vision, many challenges can be achieved.
It will show a summary of previous explorers and the history of the Antarctic. It will also show the extremely tough preparation, the organisation of the expedition team and the real life experience each individual team member has to encounter during the 1,200 km walk across the most dangerous and unforgiving part of the world.
The cinema movie and educational documentary will show the first ever partial crossing of the Antarctic from 5 different directions accompanied by 12 young adventurers. This will be the world’s first and our aim is to raise as much capital as possible to assist our youth to look forward to an eventful life. This will never be repeated!
What will you be doing while my team members and I walk 1,200 km across the most challenging and coldest part of the world and possibly risking our lives for the future of our children? Would you like to say to your children "I helped to make this documentary"? Be part of it and sponsor us while we do the hard work for our future generation and for you. We know what we can achieve but what can you do to assist us?
Funds will also be used for medical research in ancer, dementia and possibly establish several medical centres around the world. Education is also a high priority of the Antarctic Challenge 2009 – 2011 team. Maybe one day you need help yourself because I never thought I would. But I did and I survived because of the knowledge and expertise my medical staff treating me had at that time. Think about it!
Sincerely
Bernd W. Ade |
